Theory of.............??

The theory of something...something to do with the collegiate experience. Why do people go to college? That seems like a question that can be answered pretty easily, there isnt too much pndering to do there. Maybe there is some subconcious reason, some deep dark secret that can be attributed to the desire to attend college, but that is on a personal level and i dont have time to sit down and extract these things from people. How about the desire to learn and to succeed, what drives that? They say knowledge is power and we know that in todays society, and i guess in all of history power is a desirable thing to have. But there must be other reasons as well, to expand ones mind......or something like that.....maybe.....
